Mayan Jungle Quad Bike Tour + Tulum Archaeological Site Visit

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point you chose when you booked, and from there we’ll set off on this adventure to the Mayan jungle. Ready for a day of fun?

Once we arrive at our destination, we’ll begin with a moving Mayan welcome ceremony led by a local shaman—a ritual designed to purify your energies and connect you with the natural environment.

Then, the adrenaline-pumping part begins. We’ll give you a brief safety briefing on how to ride quad bikes, and once you’ve learned the basics, you’ll get behind the wheel of a powerful 450 cc quad bike to venture along thrilling dirt trails through tropical vegetation.

Halfway through the route, we’ll stop to cool off in the crystal-clear waters of a spectacular cave cenote, filled with stalactites and stalagmites that the ancient Maya believed to be the entrance to the underworld.

Afterward, we’ll continue our tour, venturing down new jungle trails before stopping for coffee, where you’ll also have the chance to refuel on your own with a dish from the local cuisine.

The highlight of the excursion will be a guided tour of the archaeological site of Tulum, the famous walled Mayan city perched on the cliffs overlooking the Caribbean Sea. We’ll explore its historical ruins while you enjoy an unforgettable postcard-perfect view of the turquoise sea.

After the tour concludes, we’ll return to the starting point, where we’ll say our goodbyes after a total of 8 hours.

Pickup Info

This activity includes pickup from hotels in Playa del Carmen or at the meeting point located at calle 12 Norte, esquina con Av. 10 Norte. During the booking process, you can choose where you'd like to be picked up.

Types of Quad Bikes

When making your booking, you can also choose between the following options depending on if you'd like to drive alone or accompanied:

• Individual quad bike tour: with this option, you'll drive the quad bike by yourself
• Double quad bike tour: this option is for two people who want to share a quad bike

The prices indicated are per quad bike.

Requirements for Driving the Quad Bikes

Please keep in mind that you must be at least 16 years old to drive the quad bikes. Otherwise, you may only participate as a passenger.
